Last updated: October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use Menu Maker - MenuCraft ("MenuCraft") and explains Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
MenuCraft is a menu design application that helps restaurants, cafés, food trucks, bakeries, and other businesses create, customize, export, and share menus, including menus with QR codes.
In short: MenuCraft does not require an account, does not collect Your personal data, does not use third-party analytics or advertising, and does not track You. Your menus, photos, and settings stay on Your device. Purchases are handled by Apple.
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Application refers to Menu Maker - MenuCraft, the software program provided by the Company.
Company refers to JigsawLab, the developer of MenuCraft ("We", "Us", or "Our").
Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a phone or tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Application.
Your Content means the menus, text, prices, photos, and design settings You create or add in the Application.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
MenuCraft does not require registration or an account. We do not collect, receive, or store Your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or browsing history. The Application does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software, and We do not sell or share Your personal information.
To provide the Service, the Application stores the following information locally on Your Device only:
Your Content — the menus You create, including text, prices, layouts, colors, fonts, QR codes, and any photos You add.
Preferences — for example, the type of business You select during setup (used to suggest matching templates), favorite templates, and app settings.
App usage counters — for example, the number of exports made in the current month, used to apply the free plan's export limit, and the start date of the free Premium period.
This information is not sent to Us. It may be included in Your Device's iCloud or computer backups if You have backups enabled, which are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
If You choose to add a photo to a menu, the Application uses the system photo picker. Only the photos You select are made available to the Application; it cannot see the rest of Your photo library. Selected photos are copied into the Application's local storage so they can appear in Your menus, and they are not uploaded to Us.
QR codes are generated on Your Device. When You export a menu as a PDF, PNG, or JPEG, the file is created on Your Device. When You share, print, or save an exported file, You choose where it goes using the system share sheet, and any app or service You share it with handles it under its own privacy policy.
MenuCraft offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (MenuCraft Premium). Purchases, payments, renewals, and cancellations are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store Your payment details or Apple Account information. The Application receives only the information needed to confirm whether You have an active subscription, so it can unlock premium features and restore previous purchases. Apple's handling of this information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
You can manage or cancel Your subscription at any time in Your Apple Account settings.
The Application does not send diagnostic or usage data to Us. If You have chosen to share analytics with app developers in Your Device settings, Apple may provide Us with aggregated crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify You. You can turn this off at any time in Your Device's privacy settings.
The Application may link to web pages such as this Privacy Policy and Apple's standard Terms of Use. These pages are operated by their owners, and We encourage You to review their privacy policies.
Because Your Content and preferences are stored only on Your Device, You control them. You can delete individual menus within the Application, or delete all of the Application's data by deleting the Application from Your Device. Data contained in Device backups is removed according to Your backup settings.
We do not hold Your Content or Personal Data on Our servers, so there is no account to close. If You have questions about Your data, You can contact Us using the details below.
Your Content stays on Your Device and is protected by Your Device's built-in security features. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and We encourage You to keep Your Device protected with a passcode.
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under 13.
We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if new features change how information is handled. We will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top.
